Many adults spend years wondering why everyday life seems harder than it should.
Perhaps you've always felt different.
Perhaps you've developed ways of coping that no longer seem to work and you're wondering if it's just because you are getting older, or you've thought of a multitude of other reasons that don't seem to fit.
Perhaps you're wondering why "adulting" seems so much harder for you than others.
If you are a parent, maybe you've recognised similar traits after your child's diagnosis.
Or perhaps changes during or after major hormonal transitions (such as pregnancy, perimenopause or menopause), have made lifelong patterns much more noticeable. Or you've just stoped functioning like you used to. Maybe you've been told it's just depression or anxiety, or your hormones, even though you know there is something more.
If you're looking for professional guidance before deciding whether to pursue a comprehensive assessment, this one-off screening appointment is designed to help.
This is a comprehensive one-off appointment with experienced psychologist Tanya Jarrett. The purpose is to explore your developmental history, current experiences, strengths and challenges to determine whether ADHD, autism, or both may be contributing to your experiences
.
This is a screening appointment rather than a formal diagnostic assessment.
It is ideal for people who would like professional guidance before deciding whether a comprehensive assessment is the next step, or whether other support could be appropriate instead.
