Fees & Rebates

The fee for a standard therapy consultation is $230. Rebates may apply in some situations. Each counselling session is 50 minutes in duration.  The fee is payable before or at the time of the consultation and if a rebate is claimable, we will advise how you will receive this rebate. Fees for online appointments are due before the appointment commences. Some services have a different fee structure depending on the funding stream or referring organisation.

Assessment services and report writing are costed depending on the purpose. We can provide a quote as needed. GST is applied to all reports.

The fee for an Autism and/or ADHD assessment is $260 per 50 minute appointment. Please refer to the Adult Autism Assessment page for further information about fees and the process.

If you have a referral and Mental Health Care Plan through your GP, you are entitled to a rebate of $98.85 for up to 10 rebates per calendar year. Please note that we cannot claim Medicare rebates for couples therapy.

If you have private health insurance, check your policy as rebates may be claimable for psychology services. Only one rebate is applicable at any given time; you can claim through only Medicare or only private health insurance for an individual consultation. People often claim through their health fund if they do not have or do not need a Mental Health Care Plan or if they have utilised all 10 Medicare rebates in the calendar year.
